A very intensive but ultimately successful tour, despite poor weather in Nuwara Eliya area. Hetti and the driver Indunil (who doubled up as a bird- spotter) worked very hard to make sure I saw as many of my targets as possible. His experience proved invaluable, especially when it comes to recognizing calls.  I usually know what I am looking at, but often not what I am hearing. So I am sure that had I been on my own, I would not have seen half of what I did.
