Understanding, attentive, punctual, v. good sense of humor -- decided to come back!

We thought we would give detailed feedback in email form and enclose a photo or two.

GUIDE

Our guide Chameera was just perfect. He quickly realised in early conversations what we wanted from our holiday and tailored it to be just right for us. He was quietly attentive, punctual and had a very good sense of humour, coping very well with us! He also introduced us to a bit of bird watching and despite this being a non-birding holiday, we saw ten endemics which gave us a lot of pleasure.

We had such a good experience with Cham and enjoyed Sri Lanka so much that we have decided to come back next year and would very much like Cham to be our guide. We have already discussed a rough itinerary with him for next year.

HOTELS

Kingsbury Hotel - 5 Stars from us.

Sorrowa Resort - 3 stars from us.

Good value for money and clean and comfortable but we would have preferred Cinnamon Lodge and would have been happy to pay for this quality of hotel.

Amaya Hills Resort - 5 stars from us.

We were glad we upgraded to a hill view room as we did hear some people complain about the rooms at the rear. Beautiful setting, lovely views, attentive staff and good food.

Ferncliff Bungalow - 5 stars from us.

Again, fabulous setting, wonderful food and Mr. Bernard, the manager was incredibly helpful.

Calamander Unawatuna Resort - 3 stars from us.

Mainly some concerns about security as public had access to the buildings where the rooms were. Also tired hotel, a bit grubby in places, some broken things in the room and staff non-attentive. However, the room was large and comfortable with lovely beach views, a great lap pool and a nice poolside area to lounge.

Suriya Resort - 5+ stars from us.

We love it! A perfect ending to a wonderful holiday! The suite is a real suite (unlike the suite at Calamander which was just a room with an extra bed and a large bathroom). Superb staff and a very high-quality place.

We will highly recommend your company to our friends.
