We made a lifelong friend with Jith. Over the years we have met up at the Rutland Birdfair.

Dear Jith,

Thank you again for a wonderful holiday! My wife and I first came to Sri Lanka in 1983 on a cultural tour and the amazing sights we saw have stayed in our hearts and minds to this day. I am an avid bird watcher and Jith was recommended by a friend from our local Bird Club. So in Feb 2009 I traveled with Bob a birdwatching mate to Sri Lanka for two weeks intensive birdwatching with Jith and Mr. Silva. We were not disappointed! Not only was it a memorable trip we made a lifelong friend w Jith.

Over the years we have met up at the Rutland Birdfair and last year decided 2014 was the year to return to Sri Lanka. This time we opted for a birdwatching /culture tour revisiting the sights of 1983. Jith arranged to tour around our wish list and we have enjoyed every single minute.
The hotels and food have all been superb. Mount Lavinia Colombo, Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya, Amaya Hills Kandy, Sigiriya Village Sigiriya and finally Ranweli Holiday Village Waikkal each one a different experience. Thanks must also go to Mr. Silva who drove us round at a gentle pace and always with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble, a true Gentleman. Finally, thanks to Jith’s lovely wife, son and mother-in-law who made us feel so welcome at their home. The lunch was the best meal we have had in Sri Lanka.

Looking through the pages of this book there are many people we know from our area and all of us say, 
If you want an experience of a lifetime be it birdwatching/ animals/ cultural (“Walk With Jith”) you definitely won’t be disappointed.
