Thanks so much for making our trip and our first experience with Sri Lanka memorable and enjoyable. We love nature here and all wonderful creatures you've shown us. Truly amazing with all endemic species. We hope Sri Lanka continues to value and conserve it's nature. We really enjoy Horton Plains, Yala and Uda Walawe. We'll have to come back for Bundala. The owl and the frogmouth were highlight of Sinharaja. Galle old city was also very lovely. Wish we had more time there.
Thanks again for all your help. Sri Lanka food is great! We'll be back :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Sri Lanka. We were very happy with our driver Manju who went out of his way to help us and was kind and friendly as well as a safe driver. Our holiday was a mix of culture, wildlife and family fun with some birding for the bird-watcher in the family. We felt it was a good balance for us at this time and would recommend Sri Lanka to other families with kids.

To Jith,
Thank you for organizing the most wonderful tour of Sri Lanka for us. We loved every minute. It is such a beautiful country. We thank you to Upali also – a wonderful driver, guide, naturalist and friend. Finally thank you for letting us stay at your amazing house and sharing special family time with Nirosha and Dinitha and us. Such an honour to meet you all. It felt like we had known each other for years! And the Sri Lanka feast on our final night was delicious – we will be dreaming of the food when we are back in Australia!

Dear Jith,
Just a few words to say what a wonderful 10 day trip you organized for us in Sri Lanka. We adored every day of the trip, each day better in reality than on paper!
Manju is a jewel and drove us safely and with great connivance everywhere—he never got lost which we found amazing! He also is a jack of local knowledge and was never short of an explanation for the many questions we posed.
Thank you again for a wonderful holiday! My wife and I first came to Sri Lanka in 1983 on a cultural tour and the amazing sights we saw have stayed in our hearts and minds to this day. I am an avid bird watcher and Jith was recommended by a friend from our local Bird Club. So in Feb 2009 I traveled with Bob a birdwatching mate to Sri Lanka for two weeks intensive birdwatching with Jith and Mr. Silva. We were not disappointed! Not only was it a memorable trip we made a lifelong friend w Jith.
Our most sincere thanks to you and your young family for not only organizing an unforgettable holiday, but also for sharing your lovely home. Some of our fondest memories will no doubt be those spent in Colombo. As for your tour, we could not have hoped for a better driver than Upali. His knowledge of SRI LANKA and its natural habitats and animals were not only extensive, but extremely interesting. He really made our trip one that will never be forgotten. We look forward to seeing you soon in Australia.
We would like to thank Mr. Jith and Jaya for organizing such a fabulous cultural tour to Sri Lanka.
Jaya is a kind, considerate and extremely knowledgeable guide. Touring with him meant that we learnt a lot more about Sri Lanka history and tradition than we would have done from the guide book alone.
Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were magnificent places which Uaha made come alive to us through his explanations of their historical importance. Learning the stories of the kings and the spread of Buddhism from 3rd century BC was fascinating.
The views from Sigiriya were breath taking and well worth the climb. Once again Jaya made the ancient fort come to life with his invaluable description of the historical context of the ruins.
We are back at the Tamarind Tree on our way home. I have insisted Erica come back home with me. She caught something in India and has been really unwell. I am not happy to leave her here. She needs to be properly diagnosed and treated. She is terribly disappointed as she really wanted to stay on but can see the wisdom in my words.

Dear Jith
Well done for the superb trip you planned for us all.
Probably the best adventure in my life.
I hope we do this again one day.
Thank you again for a wonderful tour! This time exceeds the first of second trips, probably has something to do with that amazing leopard eating its breakfast in Yala!
I think mum, dad & John may well be jealous of my pictures, I know Phil is. Phil reckons thereason we didn’t see leopard or sloth bear on our second day in Yala was because he had the bigger lense on his camera! Oh well!
It made a nice change to visit a less tourist populated elephant orphanage, they really seem to know what they are doing. I would have loved to have stayed and watched (even more there but I think dad would want me back at the zoo!)
