Not suitable to bird in December. Rain most of the time. Thili is very hardworking and knowledgeable in bird and bird calls. Highly recommended to come birding again.

Walk With Jith is an excellent company to go birding with. Everything was well planned to optimize birding in different habitats.

The guide (bird) Athula is a very knowledgeable bird guide. He is very dedicated and very passionate in his work and looking for endemic species. He goes all out to look for endemic birds and has sharp eyes. He is a very good spotter… can find birds even while driving.

I would highly recommend Athula and Walk With Jith for birding in Sri Lanka.

Thank you so much Athula for an absolutely amazing six days of birding. Not only is Athula professional in his guide services, he ensured that everything was well taken care of including the accommodations and food. Athula is an expert bird guide and he knows each bird species and calls which he can easily identify. Throughout the six days he has put in a lot of hard work and dedication to ensure that we were able to see all the endemics.

Birding only in Sinharaja and Nuwara Eliya we were able to see all endemics except the Wood Pigeon.  Highlight of the trip included photography the endemic Serendib Scopes Owl, Sri Lanka Frogmouth, Scaly Thrush and the all-time elusive and incredible rare Ceylon Bay Owl. It is only with Athula’s expert service that we were able to achieve this and we would highly recommend Athula to any prospective bird watches or photographers.

Overall this is a lovely trip with walk with Jith, very clear briefing upon arrival with detailed booklet, the success of this trip cannot be without our guide Mr. Senerath, who is very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka birds in all the areas that we visited, he has impressive eyesight.

All accommodations are comfortable, excellent Sri Lankan food and fresh fruit juice during our visit in 11 days.

For natural birds, wildlife lovers, advanced ones or beginners this program will be excellent to enjoy, learn and fully inspired. Again, thanks to the arrangement by Walk With Jith, and special thanks to the guide. Mr. Senerath.

Thiely enjoyable as a photographic trip.

We were not after species count, so we took all the photo opportunities that were offered.

Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable and took the trouble to show us all as best as he could. The arrangement of our trip went without any hiccups.

We had an enjoyable trip in Sri Lanka. Our tour guide Thilina is a knowledgeable birding guide, guiding us in spotting the birds and asserted us in Photography the birds. His knowledge of birds calls is fantastic. He is nice and easy going guide. He is also a safe driver.
