Dear All,

It has been a wonderful trip. We have spent great 20 days with a good and balanced combination at wildlife, nature, culture and leisure. We really enjoyed your country.

Our guide Hetty was always helpful and kind trying to make our vacations as easy as possible. Special thanks to him and to all staff. Nalin is a great helper, always ready to help. The driver Suranga very prudent and carefully. We were feeling very safe with him on the roads.

Same suggestions for the next families: please advise customers that doing a one-day safari is really exhausting. Parks are not well preparing with areas to rest enough. Better suggest 2 game drives even it increasing budget.

It has been a good selection of the hotels. Some of them very very pleasant with the exception of the last one. We understand however that options are more limited in this area.

All in all it has been a wonderful trip that we will keep in our memories long time.

Superb and well organised 20 day trip, loved hetti who is an expert wildlife guide. We learnt the names of many Sri Lankan birds and animals. Our trip was a great mix of different experiences from safaris and walks to ancient cultural sites. We would recommend walk with ith to others.

Our driver Sumudu had a lovely manor and kept the van very clean.
We were also appreciative of the efforts to reduce plastic water bottle waste so we bought our own water bottles and a sterilizer pen and the company provided 5 litre bottles to refill our bottles when needed.

The flexibility and wise advice you offered at the planning stages were much appreciated as was your clear communication. I knew we were in safe hands from the start.

Our guide, Hetti, was fantastic at sharing his detailed knowledge of Sri Lanka, especially its wildlife. He was always flexible and patient; he often made helpful suggestions about how we could alter our programme, good places to eat and where to see wildlife, especially birds. It was a real privilege to spend two weeks with such and expert.

In general: we are very happy with the tour we did and the things we have seen. We are not hardcore birders or photographers, so the birding was certainly good and enough. Only the Serendib Scopes Owl was for me a must have that we missed and for which I expected that we would have tried more to find it at different locations.

Athula was great to travel with, good birder, safe driver, pleasant and taking care of our little son. He did a lot of effort to find the special birds. I would certainly recommend him to everyone.

Our van was very comfortable to travel. All extra guides were very good and always on time, so te organization was excellent.

A well planned and executed trip for nature, birds & culture. Mr. Upali has done a very good job with logistics, atmosphere and not least sharing his deep knowledge on birds and culture. We really appreciate him sharing local customs, food and treats.

Last but not least, Mr. Upali is an extremely committed birdwatcher and managed to show 34 (all) endemics with good views. In addition we saw much more and had a good birding experience.

The choice of accommodation has been varied but always with “location” in focus. We like this concept, and with Mr. Upali reminding us to bring a few beers to Martins Lodge, we were all set.

We have made a 7 days tour in order to see the difficult birds of Wet Zone and highlands. We are a family of five, with 3 children, and we have seen 32 endemic birds with our guide Thilina.
Thilina is a very good bird watcher, he found many birds through its calling, and he take care of our family while looking for birds. He found the Serendib Scops Owl on a branch when it seemed impossible!
The places we stayed were very good and the organization was perfect. We recommend Walk With Jith for making birdwatching tours.

The Guangzhou and Shenzhen parent-child birding group has the largest number of people among the tours I organized abroad. It’s also the fourth time that I collaborate with Jith. Jith’s team is as professional and meticulous as usual. The team proves to be very professional in many aspect including hotel accommodation, vehicle arrangement, bird guide, etc.

Spot-bellied Eagle-Owl and Eurasian Scops Owl are the species that the team members have never seen before. All teammates are very satisfied!

Firstly, we had an amazing experience in Sri Lanka (it's an amazing country!) We have visited so many interesting and cultural places with our wonderful tour guide Upali.

Walk With Jith could not have arranged a more balanced and enjoyable tour, takin in evey thing from wildlife to places of worship and cultural fascinations. Upali has been an inspiring and knowledgeable guide with great stories and facts to make every aspect of Sri Lanka come alive!

All hotels were welcoming, comfortable and clean. All food on offer has been delightful and aromatic. It has been lovely to taste the different cultural foods of Sri Lanka.
