Holiday Tours

Superb and well organised 20 day trip, loved hetti who is an expert wildlife guide. We learnt the names of many Sri Lankan birds and animals. Our trip was a great mix of different experiences from safaris and walks to ancient cultural sites. We would recommend walk with ith to others.

Our driver Sumudu had a lovely manor and kept the van very clean.
We were also appreciative of the efforts to reduce plastic water bottle waste so we bought our own water bottles and a sterilizer pen and the company provided 5 litre bottles to refill our bottles when needed.

Firstly, we had an amazing experience in Sri Lanka (it's an amazing country!) We have visited so many interesting and cultural places with our wonderful tour guide Upali.

Walk With Jith could not have arranged a more balanced and enjoyable tour, takin in evey thing from wildlife to places of worship and cultural fascinations. Upali has been an inspiring and knowledgeable guide with great stories and facts to make every aspect of Sri Lanka come alive!

All hotels were welcoming, comfortable and clean. All food on offer has been delightful and aromatic. It has been lovely to taste the different cultural foods of Sri Lanka.

4^th visit to Sri Lanka! I am amazed, jith, that you still are welcoming and as usual, made out stay in your home and as we travelled around simply great! I still have not learned any Sinhalese, and am probably now holding a record for you seeing temples both old and new. Thanks again for your friendship and your attention to detail. Well, for 2 students we had a fantastic and a GREAT time. Not many places in the world you get to hand feed an elephant or pooed on by a playful baby elephant! Seeing baby turtles was a wonderful experience, the safari was definetly a highlight, you said it's rare to find a leopard but we did and it's rare to see elephants & we did' Seeing them in the wild we will never forget! The way you contained all the cultural & wildlife experiences into 6 days, & with explained knowledge & understanding of each experience, we will never know! But if we do come back I won't be climbing Sigiriya Rock!

Dear Jith,

We are back at the Tamarind Tree on our way home. I have insisted Erica come back home with me. She caught something in India and has been really unwell. I am not happy to leave her here. She needs to be properly diagnosed and treated. She is terribly disappointed as she really wanted to stay on but can see the wisdom in my words.

Our most sincere thanks to you and your young family for not only organizing an unforgettable holiday, but also for sharing your lovely home. Some of our fondest memories will no doubt be those spent in Colombo. As for your tour, we could not have hoped for a better driver than Upali. His knowledge of SRI LANKA and its natural habitats and animals were not only extensive, but extremely interesting. He really made our trip one that will never be forgotten. Dear Jith,

Just a few words to say what a wonderful 10 day trip you organized for us in Sri Lanka. We adored every day of the trip, each day better in reality than on paper!

Manju is a jewel and drove us safely and with great connivance everywhere—he never got lost which we found amazing! He also is a jack of local knowledge and was never short of an explanation for the many questions we posed.
