Had such a successful trip; we were immediately thinking of a second trip also!

Dear Prasanjith Caldera,

First of all my wife and I would like to thank you and team for the great holiday you have done for us. We can and will strong recommend a birding watching trip to Sri Lanka with WalkWithJith. Already Sunday evening I will be together with other Danish Birdwatchers and I will strongly recommend you.
Allow me to highlight few points which has been important for the success:

- During the planning process you have been very fast in responding and following-up. This gives confidence as we don´t know each other.

- For me it has also been crucial that you have prepared a transparent and clear programme. It made a decision quiet easy.

- The mission has been very well-planned. It means that you every day had a balanced programme with different activities every day. For instance bird-watching, driving, and then birdwatching again. All in balanced proportions.

- Very good birdwatching guide (Ruwan) and well-equipped compared to other guides we saw on our way.

- Our driver (“Dabuska”) is one of the best drivers I have ever had. Very safe and in the right speed also. By the way also a quite good car.

- Both Ruwan and “Dabuska” have been very service-minded during the trip.
We are right now looking at the questionnaire mainly related to hotels and food. In general we are happy with the standard level of hotels and also the quality of services at the hotels and also the food. Martin´s Logde was maybe the highest level concerning both food and atmosphere.
To improve the programme you could consider to change the hotels and adjustments:

1) The Safari, Tissamaharama. Here they pretended to be fine and we had daily some problems with them. I allowed myselves to forward a formal complain to the hotel and below is the response from the hotel. Maybe it could have good to have stayed closer to the Yala Park, maybe two nights at the hotel we bought breakfast in the way to Yala National Park.

2) Maybe we could have stayed a day around Bundala Wetland, so we could have had both a afternoon and a morning trip to this productive area.

3) Weligama Bay Beach. The food and service was ok, but the hotels due to no maintenance understanding at hotel.

So in total we really consider this as minor issues compared to the total very successful planned trip.
Finally after having had such a successful trip we were immediately thinking of a second trip also around two weeks. We were thinking in two Directions. 1) revisted two-three localities and then see the Northern part of Sri Lanka. . 2) could a stay in Sri Lanka be combined with a visit to either Maldives or India (close to Sri Lanka) in a cost-effective way. Could you give us some inspiration here ?
Once again thanks for a fantastic trip and Ruwan you had an important role here. Looking forward to seeing some great photos soon.
Yours
Annette and Morten
